Emily Chen is a violinist and educator based in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, whose career reflects a strong commitment to both performance and community music-making. A 2005 Kingston Chamber Music Festival Scholarship Award recipient, she earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Rhode Island, where she served as concertmaster for multiple ensembles, including the Rhode Island All-State Festival and the Ocean State Youth Orchestra. She continues to remain active as a performer with regional chamber ensembles such as the L’Autorimessa Quartetta and the South County Chamber Orchestra, while sharing her experience and musicianship through teaching and community engagement.
