Kingston Chamber Music Festival

Kyle Barboza is an electric and upright bassist from Tiverton, Rhode Island, whose performance career is rooted in jazz studies at the University of Rhode Island, where he played with ensembles such as the Standards Combo and the Narragansett Beach Big Band. A 2008 Kingston Chamber Music Festival Scholarship Award recipient, he has since remained active in the Rhode Island music community, performing in local jazz groups, collaborative projects, and regional ensembles. Known for his versatility and leadership as a musician, Kyle continues to contribute to the area’s vibrant live-music scene through performance, collaboration, and ongoing engagement with fellow artists.
