Makayla Paige Lane holds a Bachelor of Music in V ocal Performance from the University of Rhode Island and is pursuing graduate studies at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she has taken on both performance and production roles in opera and vocal performance projects. Her recent credits at Longy include appearances in productions such as Hänsel and Gretel (as The Dew Fairy) and Cendrillon (Troisième Esprit), and she has contributed behind the scenes as assistant director and stage manager for faculty and student productions, demonstrating her versatility as both performer and collaborator. A 2021 Kingston Chamber Music Festival Scholarship Award recipient, she continues to build her artistic profile through advanced study, ensemble work, and vocal performance across the Boston/Cambridge area.
